Since graduating from CUA, I earned my Master of Science from University College London in Bioarchaeology and Forensic Anthropology. In the summer of 2024, I spent two months in Transylvania, Romania on a bioarchaeological site identifying human remains from the 15th to 17th century. From my research in Transylvania, I completed two independent research topics, including creating an archaeology of care for an individual with severe pathology and trauma and flushing out methods to understand demography in commingled ossuary sites. I am presenting my research at the 94th Annual American Association of Biological Anthropology Conference in Baltimore, Maryland (March 2025). My next steps are applying and pursuing a doctorate in Forensic Anthropology in the fall.
The Anthropology department at The Catholic University of America opened my eyes to the endless possibilities that Anthropology has to offer. Anthropology has taken me around the world and afforded me life-changing experiences. I will forever be grateful to CUA for nurturing and expanding my love for Anthropology.
